Completed construction of the finished goods storage facility and ripening area at Dukat d.d. factory, as part of the existing Sirela production facility in Bjelovar, for which Prostor EKO d.o.o. prepared project documentation and carried out expert supervision. The new storage facility was successfully commissioned and the necessary documentation was obtained.

The new storage facility enables the storage of finished products (cheeses and dairy products) in a space with a controlled temperature regime. The storage facility is also connected to the existing production facilities and is equipped with a cooling system, storage equipment and infrastructure, handling equipment, electrical installations and the necessary PP protection systems.

The basic load-bearing structure of the storage facility is steel, consisting of a series of steel frames (columns and trussed roof girder), and a stabilisation system of bars, horizontal and vertical bracing. The load-bearing roof structure consists of grated roof steel girders, bearing the secondary cover of the IPE profile, to which the cover of the sandwich panel with mineral wool discharged is fixed. In addition to the steel construction of the storage facility, the annexes (office section, storage for non-conforming products and forklift charging station) with a built load-bearing structure were derived. The roof construction of the annex – the office part and the storage for non-conforming products is steel, which is derived from the main roof structures of IPE profiles on which the secondary covers of the IPE profile are located, to which the cover of the sandwich panel with mineral wool filler is fixed.

The new storage facility was successfully commissioned and the necessary documentation was obtained.
